2025: Staying Present Through Magic, Travel, and Family
2025 was a great year. Not just because of the big milestones, but because it reminded me what I love about being a mentalist in the first place: creating a moment that feels impossible, but personal. We dropped a new Netflix special, I got to hit the road on tour, and I met a lot of incredible people along the way. I also made real time for family, which ended up being one of the most grounding parts of the year and a reminder that the best mentalism is built on real connection.
Somewhere in the middle of all that, I learned drums in Japan and hiked a volcano in El Salvador. Both experiences surprised me in the same way, they pulled me out of autopilot. Learning something new from scratch forces you to pay attention again. You stop trying to look cool, you stop assuming you know what is coming next, and you start noticing details. That beginner mindset is a huge part of what makes great mentalism and magic feel so strong, whether it is in a live show, at a corporate event, or even in a simple one on one interaction.
That is what 2025 kept teaching me over and over. The best reactions are not just about being fooled by a trick. They come from the psychology of attention and the feeling that something was tailored to you. The most powerful moments happen when people feel present, when they feel seen, when they are fully in it, even if they cannot explain why. Travel helped reset my perspective, touring sharpened my timing, and being with family kept everything honest, all of which feeds directly into the kind of close up mentalism I love doing most.
I am heading into 2026 wanting more of that. More depth, more intention, more experiences that create a real memory instead of just a quick clip. If you are looking for a mentalist for a corporate event, private party, or live show this year, my goal is simple: make it feel impossible, and make it feel personal. Excited for what is next ✨🎩🌋🥁
